| Description: Below are the pictures of the 1919 Ford Center Door. This was Fords first enclosed car and it was manufactured from 1915 thru mid 1923 then the body was changed to a four door. These Bodys are very RARE and hard to find. I personally have been involved with this car as it was being built to the stage it is at today. I would consider this car at about 48% complete. This car will be a SHOW STOPPER when it is finished. All the BRASS on this car is solid Brass and all custom built by the late Bill Isley owner of WELLBAUMs BRASS DESIGNs. Go to Wellbaums web site and click on protype car to see the work he did on the Bill had been involved in street rodding and racing all his adult life and had been one of the greatest promoters of the T Buckets. Unfortunately we lost Bill and thats why his Business, Cars and Project Cars are for sale. The Center Door hugs the ground so hydraulics are under the front end to raise for street driving and air bag shocks are in the rear. The rear-end is a Ford 9' and narrowed to accommodate big tires on the back, the slicks are there for mocking the car up. Vintage Halibrand Magnesium spoke wheels up front. All metal parts (splash aprons, body trim, roof gutters, brass side lamps front and back and gas tank) are inside the car and will go with it. I believe I have found most installation manuals for miscellaneous parts and gauges and they too are inside the car. The car also has a clear title. Click here to contact seller |
