Even though it was not drivable, nothing was rusted through and the car still had nearly all its original equipment making it a restorer__s dream car. The car sat covered for 15 years waiting for the owner__s retirement when restoration began in earnest and was completed in October, 1991. The restoration took place in Stillwater, Oklahoma between 1989 and 1991 in a climate controlled workshop. The owner had previously restored a 1923 Model T Ford Touring in the late 50__s.This beautifully restored REO affords luxurious drives through town and country. It has provided escort for numerous weddings and has even been trailered distances to be used in family weddings. Year after year this REO graced the Oklahoma State University Homecoming parade carrying administrators and dignitaries from many countries.The owner has received many __Best of Show__ trophies throughout Oklahoma and the car has been shown in numerous community car shows.
