Description: LaSalleFlat Head V8 Engine3 - Speed Manual Transmission*SURVIVOR*This car is 1 of 21,514 made and it marks the first year of the flat head V8 engine. Among the LaSalle's this is one of the best cars to drive due to its strong transmission. It was originally painted Springdale Green Metallic (Code 26). The ownership history of the car is non-eventful as it was purchased in 2004 by a local individual from the grandson of the original owner who resided in Tennessee. This is mostly complete and ready to be driven or restored. As you can tell from the pictures all drive train, body, and interior components are in place. The car shows 'ok' for a driver with a general 'dull-ness' in the paint as well as paint chipping or flaking that reveals a green paint job beneath it. In the lower portion of the doors there is surface rust but overall the body and undercarriage is solid with minimal rust. A few portions of the glass windows on the car are cracked. The interior and dash of the car is free of any rips or tears. The flat head V8 125 HP engine starts right up with no foul noises or smoke and the transmission engages in all 3 gear (plus reverse) with ease. Going down the road it is a very nice driving car. While this car is not showroom clean or perfect car it will make for a great driver or candidate for restoration. If you have additional questions for any of our Automobiles please feel free to contact us using E-mail or Click here to contact seller
