Murals (Terminator) done by Steve Faroneof San Mateo, CA ENGINE- Early model 327 Chevy, TRW 11 to 1, 2.02 Heads, Isky Cam, Chromed Weiand Tunnel Ram with 2 #1850 600cfm Holleys (Power coated center, the rest Chrome)Mallory Electronic Ignition, Sanderson Headers. 2 Cogged Pulley system TRANS- 1969 Camaro M21 Muncie 4 speed, Hays gold clutch, custom made clutch linkage using all heim joints so pressure to the foot is fairly easy and smooth.All linkage and shift rods chromed. REAR END- 1969 Jaguar XKE Fully Chromed, Krugle Components Cross member support Rods. Gears were changed to 3.70 Posi FRONT- 4 bar front suspension, drop tube axle, leaf springs, All Chromed INTERIOR- Custom interior in cloth (silver red) By Sid's Custom Upholstery Mt. View CA Dash, shifter boot, radio box are all solid Mahanoy. Dash has custom carvedSerpents going around the Stewart Warner Stage II Gauges. The radio box has 80 red LED lights in shape of a lighting bolt. WHEELS- Old school Centerlines 15 x 10 rear, 15 x 3 1/2 front. Polished inside out Car is fully detailed throughout. Motor, Trans, Drive shaft, Rear end, inside of wheels, front brake calipers all match the body's paint. Most of the bolts used are stainless steel allen with the ridges milled off and then show polished. Floorboards are wood and are stained then triple varnished to high gloss on the under carriage. Since this is a fender less car the wheels needed to also be polished on the inside. The Lighting Bolt is the theme of this car - It'soutside and inside of the doors, tunnel ram, support bar on rear end, steering wheel, radio, dome light, trunk floor. Car has been in all the local shows in my area and always pulled a 1st or 2nd place trophy. I showed it once in Reno Nevada at Hot August Nights and took home a 1st place in the indoor show at the convention center. Car has tons of wheel burning power in all four gears and also cruses very nicely on freeways. You can't help all the attention you will get with this car, heads will be turning and people will be giving you thumbs up and waiving when they hear the roar when you drive by, from little kids to the old timers who had this car when they were a kid in high school.
