| Description: Here is a very nice all steel body 1947 Ford Super Deluxe 2-door Street Rod with a nice custom tan leather interior. Power comes from a strong 350cid V-8 and is connected to a 350 3-speed automatic transmission. Upgrades include an Edelbrock 4bbl carburetor and headers, a Ford 9 inch rear end, power brake system with dual zones, alternator replacing the generator, a Nova front end, radial tires, air conditioning and much more. Digital gages were installed in the original style dash, surrounded by a good-looking deco look. This Southern car has been well cared for. The chrome and bright work is original with the exception of the mirrors. Little was changed for 1947. New round parking lamps that were re-located below the headlamps, a new four bar horizontal grille, front bumper guards and a newly designed hood ornament gave the car a sleeker look. With a new coat of red paint those curvaceous lines really show this car off. And those iconic hubcaps with those cream-colored wheels and beauty rings complete this nice looking street rod. Some other period pieces were also saved for this street rod. Some include the deco interior trim work; oval chrome plated exhaust tips and blue dot tail lamps. All panels and gaps are nice and straight. The jack and spare tire are present as well. If you are looking for entering the street rod hobby there are few places to invest your money than southern rods like this. Where else can you get this much classic American iron for this little money? Being a fresh re-build you will have piece of mind during the entire trip. Take it to a show and bring home some trophies. For more details call one of our sales associates and have him walk you around this great street rod at a great price.
