Description:
1947 Ford Delux Convertible 350ci 8 Cylinder Engine W/ Automatic Transmission. You are bidding on a show 1947 Ford Deluxe Convertible. Rust Free car that has had a frame off restoration that was completed in 2004. Every body panel is original steel, car was found complete in a barn. There has been over 90k invested in parts and labor. This car is a turn key show stopper. Has been featured in Street Rod Builder magazine which is included with the car. Engine is out of a 1992 Corvette, 350 cubic inch LT1 fuel injected 300 horsepower. Topped off with a modified 50's oldsmobile air cleaner that has been stretched over 8 inches, the fire wall has been painted pinstriped and even the red top optima battery is custom frenched into the firewall. Transmission is 1993 4L60E automatic 4 speed. Old school very tall shifter and fake clutch pedal give the look that this car is a 3 speed, the fake clutch pedal is bolted to the brake pedal up near the firewall where no one can see it! You can brake with your right or left foot. Power front wheel Disc, drum in the rear, and has power steering. Car has completely new wiring kit completes of Ron Francis, which is located Conveniently inside the glove box. Frame is painted and pinstriped, with support rails welded to the center section to reduce cowl shake. Complete new interior with heat and sound proofing. Door, kick, and interior quarter panels are custom painted with flames. Convertible Top is a brand new Hartz top that is manual. All new exhaust from flowmaster, all new suspension and fuel system. You will not believe how many subtle custom features and pinstriping this car has. A question I get all of the time is, the car looks like a 46' not a 47' because of the turn marker lights, are you sure it is a 47'? I personally did the research on this, and found out that this car was a very early 47' and Ford used the left over 46' front fender with the marker lights near the hood. Please feel free to send me questions about the car, also I am not interested in any trades. Thank you! This car is a great driver that will turn heads where ever you go!
