The frame and underside of the car has been completely polished. The car has all new glass with the original Ford script. Every piece of chrome and stainless has been professionally refurbished to show condition. The car was painted in the original color, Moonstone Gray. The paint is lacquer with no flaws anywhere. There is absolutely no putty in this car. The interior was done by La Baron Bonney in rich red leather in the original styling. The convertible top was done by La Baron Bonney in black canvass to the original specifications. The convertible pump and cylinders are new as original. The convertible top includes a glas window. The trunk has a new mat and sides by La Baron Bonney in the original styling. The dash and arm rests on the doors are beautifully done in the original wood grain styling. Behind the front seat is new tan carpet in the original styling, done by La Baron Bonney. The floor in the front has the black rubber matting as original. Under the hood, the car has the original V8 motor, which has been completely rebuilt. Every part and every wire under the hood is either NOS or reconditioned original. This includes the carburator, fuel pump, radiator, hoses, etc. All of the wiring in the car has been replaced. The transmission is the original 3 speed column shift, which has been completely rebuilt. The car has a new clutch, all new brakes, a reconditioned steering wheel, reconditioned clock, reconditioned radio and reconditioned gauges. The car has a new exhaust system as original. The underside of this car shines more than most cars do on the outside, including the frame. The car has five new 710 X 15 wide white wall tires on original reconditioned wheels. The car has original reconditioned wheel covers. This car has 0 miles on it since the restoration. If you want a rare Mercury with which to show and win, this is the car.
