| Description: This car is owned by world famous automotive photographer Peter S Linney from Los Angeles. I found this car in a back yard in Hollywood in the mid 80___s, and I restored it as the car I took to my photo shoots. I had an expert rebuilding the engine, part from that I had to do the usual parts of new seats, top and a paint job. I got wire wheels from Rodster wheels here in LA , they make duplicate wheels for the Cadillac, and I used Cooker white wall radial tires. Then I drove the car and put about 60 thousand miles on it. The only maintenance I did was general service, and I installed a high flow radiator to better manage LA hot summers. Then in '02 I bought a Chevrolet Avalanche as my work trk and I left the car with a friend who did lots of top engine work on it. Then after a few years of storage and a transmission rebuild, I stripped the car for all chrome and stainless and it was taken to a very good painter. Month later it had a glass finish paint, and I took it to an old fashion upholstery man who made a new cloth top, and new all leather seats. He took for ever, but it looks very good and have the factory pattern seats. Then I drove the car to a friend and Cadillac expert. He and I worked every day for almost 3 month getting the car back to factory original. I have many new chromed parts, and polished stainless steel. The windshield are new, so are all the rubber. I have a brand new , factory looking wiring harness, but it was made with modern material so it does not crack. The fuse box are now under the hood and not under the dash, a impossible pl to find it before. I have 2 new outside mirrors, all with original Y numbers. I have driven the car about once a week and had it tweaked so it runs real good in traffic or on the freeway. I had a leak around the transmission, an old fashion transmission guy took it out to replace all gaskets and seals, and had a look inside also. Most was 100%, but he found a few things to improve on, so that part are also 100% now. The windows goes up and down with a hydraulic, the one in the driver side door was leaking, so it have been changed also. This is an old car, but it___s a very simple old car, and it never let me down when I was using the car every week. It is not a frame off trailer queen kind of car. But with all matching numbers, and restored to original factory specifications. And you will look just marvelous and day of the week driving this car. I have a extra sett of break drums, an electric windshields wiper motor. Radio works, but it___s not hooked up.
