The Result Was The C 300, A Luxury Sport Coupe With 300HP. It Was Arguably The First American Muscle Car. The Original C 300 Was A Performance Icon Of Its Era. Showcasing The Abilities Of The Early Hemi Engine On The Hard Packed Sands Of Daytona Beach, Florida. It Was In 1955 That The C 300 Posted A 127.580 MPG, Two Way Average In The Flying Mile, 7 Miles More Then Its Nearest Competitor. In The Hands Of Pioneering NASCAR Team Owner Carl Kiekhafer, Owner Of Mecury Outboard Engines. The C 300 Went On To Win The 1955 NASCAR National Championship. This 1955 C 300 With 12,300 Documented Miles, Was Purchased From The Original Owner In 1974. I Have A Copy Of The Title Bearing His Name And the Address And The Dealers name That Delivered The C 300. Included Is The Factory Build Sheet To Document All The Items Pertaining To The Fabrication Of The C 300. We Still Retain The Original Tires And Hubcaps. The Wire Wheels Were Added Later By Me, There Were An Option. All Chrome Is Original Except Front And Rear Bumpers. The C 300 Was Repainted To Its Original Color Code C30 Platinum. The Leather Upholstery Is Still In New Condition. Very Few Mechanical items Ever Have Been Replaced. Only Service Items Ext Wheel Cylinder Kits And Exhaust. The Windows Are Factory Solex. The C 300 Has Won Many First Place And Best Of Shows At Some Of The Finest Shows In the Midwest.
