Description: 1958 Dodge D200 Street Rod Dodge Truck, ( Arkansas Title )POWER GIANT with Modified Using Parts mfg. by Ford Mtr. Co. Power Train, 4.6 V- 8 Ported Injection, double over head cam (Currently used in production today.) 4 spd. Automatic ( E40D ) Overdrive computer controlled transmission plus the Final drive/ rear end gears & drive shaft are Ford Corp.parts mfg.& designed to be compatable to the Engine & Transmission Tires ect) Complies with all Federal Emmision Laws. It's Fun to Drive and dependable. We have driven this vehicle over 10,000 miles in the pasts 6 years. Modified Antique Vehicles often Use Current Production Engines & Transmissions with Electrical systems ,needed to accomodate the new improved driveability accessories now being installed on todays vehicles . The Ford / Lincoln Frame Front End and Engine Cradle includes the . Coil Spring & upper & Lower Control Arms, with Ball Joints , Front Wheel Disc Brakes, Wheel Bearings , Steering Linkage including the Power Steering Gear, Tie Rods are Ford Parts Mfg. The original Front Section of Dodge Trk.Frame was re-moved, a common practice with Modified Vehicle Builders. The electrical & Lighting system. includes the complete wiring harness . Including, Engine / A / T Computer Controls are Ford Products. The Ford Rear Axle Housing & Gears were adapted for this vehicle allowing Rear Wheel Disc Brakes , a modern Foot Operated Emergency Brake System . Four new Gas Shocks have been installed. Owners will provide repair orders, documents & invoices with the sale of this vehicle. Exterior: Red & White Ultra High Gloss/Wet Look(glitter/flaked ) Clear coat. A must see. ( the color changes when Sun/lite reflects off the Glitter ) Cargo Box /Interior truck bed has a white sprayed in rubber coated Bed Liner. Oak Side Boards have been fitted to the Cargo Box. Two Oak tool boxes were custom built to fit on the RUNNING BOARDS. Birds Eye Maple trim was chosen to trim out the Custom Padded Dash Board . The dash & steering wheel , includes, Drivers air bag & horn button are in the Tilt /steering .The Seat has Seat Belts for three passengers. The Seat was re-upholstered by using the 'Rolled & Pleated' Process, using Red Velvet Fabric , trimmed with White Vinyl. The same materials are on the inner Door Panels. Automatic Climate Control System blows cold, coolant is R134 or Heated Ait. The Head Liner & Carpet are Red. Mirror / Lighted Sun Visors & Interior Courtsy Lites are Ford Parts. The Sound System is : Ford / Lincoln A M / F M Stero Cassette , with Power Antenna . power amplifier . The Digital Clock in the dash Instrument Panel. The original Dodge Hood was used. The Hood hinges / fastners are Mfg. by : General Morors TORSION BAR Type., The Hood now tilts Forward when opened. Found on most Rods & Custom vehicles. Restoration / Rebuild was performed in 2000/01 variable speed wiper motor was Installed, controls are on the directional lever switch.on the left side of the steering wheel . The horn access switch is built into the steering wheel. Lighting system , now allows the automatic/timed head lite shut off feature. A Class 111 hitch was installed in the conversion. The Black Box Trailer Controller lite hook up has a voltage control connected to the trailer wires to prevent the Engine Contriller / Computer damages. The spare Tire & Alloy Wheel ( matches the 4 wheels on this vehicle ) is mounted above the running board on the drivers side , attaches to the cargo box . Cypess Hard Wood was in-stalled in the floor of the Cargo box, using the original steel floor/rail fastners. . The tail lights used were modified Ford/Lincoln original parts. The 15 inch Tires & Styled Wheels are from a 94 Lincoln TC . Rear tires are wider tread than the fronts.( needed to obtain better traction ) The tires have 10,000 miles ( in Good condition.) The odometer/speedometer and engine monitor gauges are Ford/TC . The A/C and Heater has automatic temp.controls .You simply adjustthe temp. controller to your comfort zone.A three spd. fan controls the air flow . The System Blows COLD AIR. Ford/TC This dash mounted digital clock was also used . The Engine Cooling Electric 2 spd.Fan , mounts on the Engine side of the Radiator. The two speed control switch is on the lower edge of the dash . Special Design Feature : The Cab has WRAP AROUND 'ONE peice Front and Rear Windows' , a big attraction in trucks design in the late 50's. The Decals ( used on the inner Door Panels and the Tail Gate ) are constructed of Reflective Red tape a Safety Item. ( most mfgs. today have some type of reflectors simular to these.
