The outside of the car has been repainted in the original blue and white, base coat/clear coat. The inside has also been painted along with the engine compartment and front end. The car has cruiser skirts and is lowered 4' on the back end. The chrome and stainless have been professionally restored to perfect condition. The interior is partially original with some new fabric and upholstering. There is a new headliner and new blue carpet. The trunk has been restored to original. The motor is the original 312 V8 and has been rebuilt. The steering wheel has been restored to original. The car has five new 800 X 14 BF Goodrich white wall tires on the original wheels, which have been repainted. It has the original wheel covers. The car has a dual exhaust system. It has a new windshield. Some of the other glass is not perfect. The underside of the car is in great condition and has been completely rust proofed. This car has no rust in the floors and the original paint was in good condition, but I decided to get it painted anyway. The car was just completed and has no miles on it since the restoration. It is a beautiful car and would take little work to make it an AACA winner. You should also remember that this is a Mercury and not everyone has one.
