Description: This is a truely rare 1958Mercury Medalist with the original paint. The car is very sound mechanically with a 312 V8 motor has 35,000 on a major overhaul that comes with a three speed overdrive transmission. This is the same motor that came in the T-Birds and the engine alone is worth the price of the car. (Most 1958 came with a push button automatic.) The engine runs very well and this car comes with new brakes, new master & wheel cylinder kits, pinion seal and ignition. With the age of this car it is very solid, however it does have some minor surface rust on the car and minor rust on the rear quarters over the wheel wells (as shown in the pictures). The interior is in excellent condition with the exception of the driver seat that has a tear, (as shown in the pictures). This car can be driven home from this location and was a daily driver or with some TLC could be restored to its orignal beauty. If you do check the information I have provided, you will find that this type of car was only produced in 1956 and 1958.
