The Turnpike Cruisers were made in a limited run of only 6407, with this one being made in 1958, the final year of manufacture. The engine has been completely rebuilt, and the interior has been reupholstered. The paint is silver with blue trim all to match, an original color scheme offered when the car was new.The engine is a 330 Horsepower V-8 which has been completely rebuilt and has only 48,000 original miles. Windows and Seats are electric, and this car features the amazing Merc-O-Matic drive system, a system so advanced that a mere button-push controls engine start, neutral, drive, low, reverse, locks the car in gear for parking, and even releases the parking brake.
