ys been garaged since restored (on the frame restoration). Uncle Kenny bought the car in July 1961 from Howard Chevrolet in Terre Haute, IN for $2895 and had it undercoated at that time. The Chevrolet Impala has been one of the greatest selling vehicles in Chevrolet's history, "Happy 50th Birthday 1960 Chevy Impala!" This car has a power-glide automatic transmission, PS (original equipment) & PB (just recently put on...I kept the original manual brakes), the engine is a 283 V8 with a 4 barrel, flow-master duel exhaust, restored to its original color, beautiful vinyl dash (no cracks), cool fender skirts, original owners guide, appraisal book, 95% restored to it original glory (front & back seats have not been restored as they are in good condition), the engine & transmission were recently overhauled (less than 1000 miles ago) although there was no problem with either, this car was appraised on August 15, 2007 by "Old Car Company Appraisal Service" in St. Charles, MO for $23,900. Just 2 owners from new Uncle Kenny & my wife & I. Price is firm, no trades or talk of trades. The front end of this car was professionally converted from drum brakes to disc brakes for safety reasons. All parts removed will go with the car.
