1967 Mercury S-55 Convertible, 8 Cylinder, Gas fuel, AM/FM Radio, Tilt Wheel, Garage Kept, Non Smoker 1967 Mercury S-55, 428 Q-Code convertible. Restored summer of 2011. Exterior repainted in original 'I-Code' 'Lime Frost'. Rust was not an issue during the restoration as this car was stored through all winters and rarely driven over the years. Interior is original with the exception of new carpeting and all vinyl is supple and stitching is still good. New roof and all roof stays and lift mechanism operate as new. Electrical system was never altered and all components work correctly. Brakes are excellent. Suspension is excellent. Transmission is excellent. Engine is excellent with new gaskets and seals. New door and window seals. Runs, drives and handles excellent. Trunk is in need of detailing. Trunk mat and jacking instruction sticker are included. Very rare car as Mercury only built 145 S-55 convertibles in 1967 which was also the last production year for all S-55 cars. This may be the only Lime Frost metallic S-55 convertible ever built.
