| Description: 1974 Datsun 260Z. Mint condition 1974.5 260Z. 2nd owner. SoCal car for its first 30+ years, has been in Arizona for the past 2. There is NO RUST on this car. Original paint, original interior, original everything, including working AM/FM radio. In describing this car, it is easier to list the parts that are not original. They are: - Tinted windows (done last year), - 240Z carbs (done by original owner at 54,660 miles), - 280Z transmission/stick shift cover (original one cracked where Choke is attached - poor design), - new pistons (slightly larger, professionally bored, due to wear of originals), - aluminum racing radiator (I live in the desert), - A/C rebuilt and works great (again, I live in the desert), - all enclosed custom stereo built into stereo box behind seats and in front of rear struts (head unit, sirius satellite, sub-woofer, amp, two 6' rounds - all in custom box - the original radio is simply too cool to ever remove), - 9 coats of UV protection clear coat on top of original paint (one more time, I live in the desert) - Suspension is stock other than the KYB shocks that were installed at 58,110 miles, Maintenance done: - 76,137 miles, rebuild cylinder head, head gasket, new hoses, new clutch disc and pressure plate and seals. - 77,625 miles, starter was replaced, - 107,145 miles, brakes and master cylinder, as well as wheel bearings, were replaced, - 107,642 miles, new Michelins put on. Have original owner's manual and all paperwork since original purchase. Steering is tight, no play or rattle in the stick, gears are tight, suspension is tight. Click here to contact seller |
